Kelly always knew she wanted to work in a careers that would allow her to help others. Having family members who were diagnosed with cancer when Kelly was younger peaked her interest in medicine and the field of oncology.""I have been so fortunate to have several individuals influence me during my career, including professors, oncology nurse educators and physicians. Their passion to educate others - whether it was coworkers, future employees or patients - has continued to excite me."" Coming to work and getting to work alongside a great team and care for her patients is what keeps Kelly motivated. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys volunteering (at local animal shelters, backpack supplies for students and more), spending time with loved ones and traveling. In fact, she has been to 45 of 50 states, and is looking forward to exploring all the U.S. national parks!""Since 1985, I have had the honor to work with oncology and hematology patients and staff members, who have the same passion as I do in this field. Every patient's journey is different and my hope is that I am able to provide the best care for the patient and their loved ones. Making a difference while they go through their journey is the best reward.""
