Malorie chose a career as a physician assistant because she wanted to practice medicine and enjoys the flexibility of the profession. As an athlete, Malorie has always been drawn to orthopedic surgery. She enjoys being part of a team that restores function and independence to patients. Helping them regain simple life pleasures, such as holding a cup of coffee again, is incredibly rewarding.Malorie attributes her mother, a longtime internal medicine nurse practitioner at Bronson, as having a big influence on her career in medicine. Malorie says she is an amazing provider who is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Malorie hopes to leave a legacy like her Mom has.In her free time, Malorie competes in Olympic weightlifting, enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. Her special interests include arthritis and traumas. With every patient, I seek to form a relationship with them to deeply understand their goals, expectations and hobbies. This connection helps to provide clarity in my treatment approach and to create a plan that will satisfy their individual expectations. My objective as their provider is to completely educate them so they can make an informed decision regarding their care. I am grateful to work together with my patients to improve their quality of life.
