Jennifer Long, WHNP-C, practices OB-GYN care for women of all ages at Women’s Health Specialists of Bossier. She enjoys assisting women toward a healthy lifestyle and preventive care. Her care philosophy is to provide optimal care with the utmost respect and compassion for patients and their families. Long’s training includes endometrial biopsies (EMB), Nexplanon contraceptive implants, as well as the placement and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs).
A registered nurse since 1992, Long began her career in NICU caring for critical newborn infants. Her career transitioned to labor and delivery and hospital gynecology, when she discovered her passion for women’s health.
In 2002, Long earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP). She is certified by the National Certification Corporation.
Away from the clinic, Long enjoys time outdoors with her friends and family. She and her husband have two grown children and two granddaughters.
