Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I chose to pursue a career in medicine early on in high school for many reasons. I initially thought I wanted to be an educator/teacher, however I have a fear of public speaking. After sustaining a low back injury and multiple ankle sprains while playing high school sports, I encountered many different medical providers and was drawn to the medical profession.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I love spending time with my family; my husband Brian, our 2 beautiful daughters, and our miniature golden-doodle. I love watching our girls work hard to succeed at what they love; swimming, singing and dancing. I also enjoy reading, being outside, gardening, DIY projects, and a good cup of coffee.
