Yew C. Choo, MD received his medical degree from the National University of Singapore. He completed an internship in general surgery and medicine at Singapore General Hospital as well as a general surgery internship at Brooklyn-Cumberland Medical Center, New York. As well as completing a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston City Hospital, Boston University, he received additional Fellowship training in Gynecology Oncology at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Choo specializes in gynecologic oncology and advanced pelvic surgery. several published articles in the field, he is active in Clinical Research projects through the non-profit organization, Gynecologic Oncology Group. He is also an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology with Oklahoma State University Health Sciences Center- Tulsa. Dr. Choo is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Tulsa County Medical Society. In 1979, he achieved board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 1982, he achieved additional certification in the subspecialty of Gynecologic Oncology.
