Dr. Faralli attended the University of Pennsylvania and in 1975 received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and History. He attended the Temple University School of Medicine and received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1979. He completed a flexible internship at the Allentown Sacred Heart Hospital Center (now the Lehigh Valley Medical Center) in 1980.
Following his internship, Dr. Faralli began a six year period of active duty in the United States Army Medical Corps. During this time, he completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Following his residency years, he spent two years at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, as a staff orthopaedic surgeon and became chief of orthopaedics at that facility.
Dr. Faralli continued his professional training by returning to the University of Pennsylvania where, in 1987, he completed a Fellowship in Joint Replacement under the guidance of Drs. Paul Lotke and Marvin Steinberg.
Dr. Faralli is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a member in the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the Lebanon County Medical Society. Dr. Faralli is a clinical assistant professor in the Penn State/Good Samaritan Hospital Family and Community Medicine residency program where he instructs residents in orthopaedics.
