Dr. Slagle received his Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College in 1986 where he graduated Cum Laude with honors in biology. He then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 1990. He completed his General Surgery internship at Abington Memorial Hospital and his orthopedic surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 1995. Dr. Slagle is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Slagle does general orthopaedics and fracture care, but his major focus is sports medicine and total knee replacement. As an avid triathlete, he also has an interest in exercise and nutrition.
