In February 2005, Sanjay Jain, MD, became the sixth pulmonologist to join Lutheran Medical Group. Dr. Jain attended The Air Force School in Delhi Cantt, India, for his undergraduate education. He earned a medical degree from University College of Medical Sciences in Dehli, India, where he also completed an internship. Dr. Jain completed a residency at Dr. S.N Medical College at the University of Rajasthan in Jodhpur, India, and he completed an internship and residency at the Southern Illinois School of Medicine in Springfield, Ill. He was chief fellow in pulmonary/critical care/environmental medicine and a fellow in sleep medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he was an assistant professor in the division of pulmonary and critical care medicine. Dr. Jain was also a sleep fellow at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Jain is board certified in pulmonology, sleep medicine and critical care. He has published extensively in the areas of sleep disorders and sleep awareness.
