Dr. Scholl attended the University of Texas at Austin and completed his undergraduate studies in 1974. Subsequently, he obtained a dental degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. After a year in private practice, he began his medical education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Scholl completed his internship at the University of Texas at Houston affiliated hospitals, including Herman Hospital. His specialty training was done at the University of Colorado at Denver, including a year at Denvers Childrens Hospital. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Scholl has been in private practice in Austin since 1986. Dr. Scholl is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Head and Neck Surgery Society.
