I have been working in Woodland Hills since arriving from the East Coast in 1997. I was raised in New York. I attended Columbia University and received bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering. I was drawn to medicine by the challenges it offers. I became a plastic surgeon to help solve the many reconstructive challenges this field presents. My aesthetic sense and ability to work well with my hands assist me in the care of my patients. I am a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve. My father is retired from the furniture manufacturing business. My mother is a CPA. My older brother is a lawyer and my younger brother is an oncologist. I have a loving partner and two cats.
