Welcome to my Web page. This is my chance to introduce myself to you and give you an idea of why I like working at Kaiser Permanente. Biography I am Chicago born but happily moved to Southern California in 1974. I have been a Kaiser Permanente member since that time. I chose to enter medicine because I had an interest in science at a young age. I choose to continue in medicine because of the reward I feel helping others. About my practice I took my residency in otolaryngology at a Kaiser Permanente facility in the Bay Area. I agree with the philosophy that many Kaiser Permanente physicians share, namely to treat members like family and to practice practical medicine based on scientific evidence. I appreciate the fact that as a Kaiser Permanente physician I have the ability to provide the best care I can without having to concern myself with the administrative side of the practice. How I thrive My most rewarding times are spent with my family. In addition to that, I seek balance in my life through exercise and leisure. I have taken up the challenge of training for and completing a variety of endurance events, such as marathons, triathlons and bicycle rides. In doing so, I also raise money for my favorite charity, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The leisure activities I enjoy most are travel, going to plays at the local theater and watching movies with the family.
