Brief Intro

Raised in Hawaii, graduated from UCLA Medical School, completed residency in New York at Mount Sinai Medical Center, completed fellowships in Teaching and Educational Leadership at USC School of Medicine, and received a Masters in Medical Education from USC School of Education. Joined the University of Hawaii faculty in 1997, served as Associate Director of Medical Education, Chair of Medical School Curriculum, Chair of Pediatric Resident Education, and Director of Pediatric Medical Student Education. Trained over 1,000 medical students and residents in Pediatrics, received numerous awards for patient care, teaching, humanitarianism, and community service. Moved to Washington in 2010, joined clinical faculty at University of Washington Medical School; currently enjoying private practice at Valley Children's Clinic in Renton, Washington.
