Dr. Costantino is from Athens, Georgia. He graduated from Athens High School and the University of Georgia. He attended Emory University Medical School and graduated summa cum laude in 1972. He completed his residency at Emory University School of Medicine Hospitals and his Fellowship in general vascular surgery at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in both General Surgery and General Vascular Surgery. He belongs to numerous surgical organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, the Society of of Vascular Surgeons, the Southern Association of Vascular Surgeons and the Atlanta Vascular Surgical Society. He has published several articles in the surgical literature.
