Dr. May received his B.A. from Queens College in 1973 and in 1978 received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. May continued his training at the University of Utah Medical Center, completing his internship and residency in 1981 and a Fellowship in gastroenterology in 1983. Dr. May is a Board Certified Diplomate in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
Dr. May began practicing medicine in 1983. He is Chief of Gastroenterology at Good Samaritan hospital as well as an attending physician at Nyack Hospital. Professional Organizations include the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Society for Internal Medicine, the Rockland County Medical Society and the New York State Medical Society.
