John Sandbach, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology as well as the American Board of Internal Medicine in Medical Oncology. Dr. Sandbach received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 1971. After that, he went on to complete an internship at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Straight Medicine in 1972. Also at North Carolina Memorial Hospital, Dr. Sandbach completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Sandbach is a member of several professional organizations and societies including the American Cancer Society, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology and Southwestern Oncology Group.
