Fausto G. Devecchi, MD, joined Lutheran Medical Group as a cardiac electrophysiologist in July 2009. His key clinical interest is ablation of complex arrhythmias. Dr. Devecchi earned a medical degree from and completed a post-graduate internship at the University of Turin School of Medicine and Surgery in Torino, Italy, in 1996. He completed an internship and a residency in internal medicine in 2000 and 2002, respectively, at Roger Williams Medical Center, Boston University School of Medicine in Providence, R.I., where he also served as chief resident. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City in 2005, where he served as chief fellow. He completed a second fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Brown University in Providence in 2007. Before joining, LMG, Dr. Devecchi, who is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology, was director of arrhythmia services at Cardiovascular Associates of Northern Wisconsin in Wausau.
