Elizabeth Reinitz, MD, FACP, FACR is a graduate of Cornell University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After internship and residency at Boston city Hospital she returned to AECOM for a fellowship in rheumatology. Dr. Reinitz is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. She has been practicing internal medicine and rheumatology since 1981 and joined the Scarsdale Medical group in 1989. Dr. Reinitz is Chief (Emerita) of Rheumatology at White Plains Hospital. At the Scarsdale Medical Group’s 600 Mamaroneck Ave. office she can provide on-site treatment with medications requiring intravenous infusion for some rheumatic disorders. She is dedicated to the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory rheumatic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and gout as well as degenerative disorders of bones and joints including osteoarthritis. Her goals are to keep her patients active and as functional and pain free as possible.
