Brief Intro

David K. Bloomgarden, MD, FACE, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine. He went on to Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center where he did his internship and residency in Internal Medicine, thereafter pursuing a fellowship in Endocrinology where he devoted himself to becoming expert in the treatment and management of diabetes, thyroid disease, bone metabolism and other endocrine disorders. His ardent commitment includes his membership on the Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association, his elected service on their Research Foundation Board, his chairmanship of the ADAâ€™s Westchester Leadership Council, and his annual participation in Westchesterâ€™s Step Out fundraiser for the ADA when he and his team members wear their Team Cure hats with pride. Other hats he wears include his volunteer instructing/mentoring of students from Columbia-Presbyterian Medical School. Dr. Bloomgarden is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology & Metabolism and is a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. Above all, he takes great care in the day-to-day management of his patients.
