Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I was born in a refugee camp and grew up in poverty outside of the U.S. Volunteer medical workers are the ones who delivered me and assisted my family as we transitioned to the U.S. My family and I are grateful for their efforts. The field of medicine is very rewarding because you can give back in many ways that cannot be measured. My goal is to provide the same services to my patients as those that were provided to me in the past. The model is to pay it forward. What I want my patients to know about me:I am passionate about what I do. Trying my best and aiming for the top is always my goal and priority. I create an environment where my patients are comfortable and can speak and express themselves freely. I am a judgment-free zone. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I love to travel and try new food. I also spend time with family and participate in multiple sports, such as bicycling, paintball, snowboarding and range shooting. I like to keep myself occupied by reading for work and also for pleasure.
