Dr. Daniel Strigenz is a comprehensive otolaryngologist in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital. He grew up in Wisconsin and went on to complete his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from New York University in 2012 and completed a five-year residency in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, one of the highest volume surgical programs. During his residency, he participated in surgical service missions to the Dominican Republic and served in leadership positions as Chief Resident, Education Chief for the Otolaryngology Department and on the Housestaff Quality Forum. He also received the medical-center-wide Housestaff Collegiality Award and Award for Most Outstanding Temporal Bone Dissection within the department.
After completion of his residency in 2017, Dr. Strigenz entered practice in Wisconsin before relocating to Houston to join the esteemed faculty at Houston Methodist. He is excited to expand the Otolaryngology services offered by Houston Methodist throughout the Houston metropolitan area. He has extensive surgical and clinical training in both standard open and minimally invasive surgical techniques, as well as endoscopic and microscopic approaches to diseases of the head and neck.
Outside of his medical practice he enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with his spouse and dogs. He returns home to Wisconsin to visit family as often as possible, and to visit Lambeau Field to root on his beloved Green Bay Packers.
