Dr. Dan DeCook is a graduate of Malumghat Christian High School (Bangladesh) and Calvin College. He attended the University of Michigan Medical School and completed a general surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI. He is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After spending 5 years in the Air Force, he joined LSA in 1997 and practices the full spectrum of general surgery with special interests in breast surgery. Dr. DeCook and his wife, Cecilia (a Holland area Family Practice physician), have three children. They are active in their local church and enjoy family activities such as camping and traveling. Dr. DeCook grew up in Bangladesh where his family served in medical missions.
