After leaving active duty Army in October 2014, Tommy settled in Salem and has worked in orthopedic sports medicine ever since. He is a Major in the Oregon Army National Guard, practicing urgent care and preventive medicine. He enjoys taking care of patients and developing realistic expectations. He believes the treatment plan has to be developed by the provider and the patient. Tommy enjoys spending time with his wife and sons and has taken an interest in breaking physically active world records as a way to fundraise for charities.
