Dr. Patel moved to the United States from India when he was 12 years old. He went to a 6- year BA/MD program right out of high school in Kansas City to get his undergraduate and medical degree.
He was part of the Kansas City Free Eye Clinic for the six years, he served as a fundraising chair to help raise money for free eye exams for the homeless population. He hopes to be a part of a non- profit in the future and travel internationally to provide care for the underserved population.
He did his internship in Indianapolis, and residency in Alabama. He was elected into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society during medical school.He has always wanted to live out west, so he was very excited to match at Associated Retina Consultants and finally move out west. He loves to travel and enjoys photography, cooking, and hiking.

Most also hold clinical assistant professorships with the University of Arizona.
