What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
My passion for healthcare comes from knowing that I am able to provide compassionate care to a diverse community and people from all walks of life. This in turns allows me to build a rapport with my patients to give them the confidence to take control of those health and mental well being.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
As a primary care provider my role is to provide quality care to prevent disease process not only physically but as well as behavioral health. My goal is to prevent diseases through lifestyle management in order to manage chronic and acute conditions.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I graduated with my nursing degree from Loyola University of Chicago. Post graduation - I worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and soon after as a supplemental nurse at the University of Chicago Medical Center. After working for five years as nurse - I went back to school for my masters in Family Medicine. As a Nurse practitioner I worked in the city f Chicago serving the population with acute and chronic health conditions.
