Karen Chen, PMHNP, treats adolescents ages 18+ and adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, PMDD, bipolar disorder, and more (see below). She is also a Clinical Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, and co-chair of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association’s Southeast Pennsylvania region.
Ms. Chen provides medication management for Anxiety disorders (such as Generalized Anxiety, Panic Disorder, PTSD and Social Phobia), Mood Disorders (such as Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Affective Disorder (BPAD Types 1 and 2), Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), Postpartum Depression, Cyclothymia and Persistent Depressive Disorder, and Attention Deficit Disorders (such as Adult ADHD).
She is board certified to prescribe psychiatric medications. She has a focus in both general adult psychiatry, and student mental health, and treats many college, graduate students and young adults, for various psychiatric difficulties.
Ms. Chen offers in-office and virtual Telehealth Psychiatric appointments, from her office in Philadelphia, PA. She can also provide Anxiety Treatment, Depression Treatment, Mood Disorder Treatment and ADHD Treatment and Medication Management to individuals throughout all of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as she maintains dual licensure.

We are a fee-for-service psychiatric practice and do not accept insurance directly. However, many patients can receive reimbursement for the majority of our fees, by submitting to their insurance company.
