Brief Intro

Dr. Hughes was raised in Wauwatosa, and went to Carleton College in Minnesota thinking he might pursue a career in science. However, he found he needed to interact more regularly with those in need and also that the science of medicine was more interesting and challenging to him. Before starting medical school, he worked as an intern at the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin and earned an MS in Human Nutrition at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Hughes graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2015 and completed his residency training in Milwaukee at Columbia St Mary’s Family Medicine Residency in 2018.I take care of children and adults with a holistic approach. My practice philosophy is focused on meeting my patients' halfway and tailoring diagnostic and treatment plans to their priorities and goals. I think my patients will find that they can count on me as their advocate in this sometimes fragmented health care system.
