Dr. Young M. Kang is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He received his medical degree from University of Rochester, School of Medicine and completed his urology residency at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. From New York, Dr. Kang relocated to California and went onto a Minimally Invasive Urology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles before entering his practice in Northern California.
Widely published with a number of articles and abstracts in his field, Dr. Kang practices general urology with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgery, urological cancers, kidney stone treatments, and prostate diseases. He also has a special interest in female and male urinary incontinence. His experience with the minimally invasive single incision sling procedure for female stress urinary incontinence is one of the largest in the Bay area.
