Dr. William J. Jordan Jr., D.O. is a third generation eye doctor, following his grandfather, Dr. James S. Jordan and father, Dr. William J. Jordan.
Dr. Jordan practices in our Scranton, Tunkhannock, Clarks Summit North State Street and Pittson offices. He is a graduate of Scranton Preparatory High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University in 1988.
Dr. Jordan earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. He served his Internship at Scranton Temple Residency Program. He completed a three-year Ophthalmology residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in May 2002.
Dr. Jordan is a comprehensive Ophthalmologist with special interests including cataract surgery and glaucoma. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, The American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Lackawanna County Medical Society.
