William H. Bailey, MD, FACC attended Tulane University and majored in Biology and German Literature. He is also a graduate of the Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Bailey completed a rotating internship and residency in Family Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. This was then followed by an Internal Medicine Residency and Invasive Cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas School of Medicine in Houston. After ten years of private practice in Cardiology, Dr. Bailey returned to complete an additional fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Baylor College of Medicine. This was followed by a residency in Aerospace Medicine with the USAF. Dr. Bailey returned to Austin Heart after completing a two year academic and clinical professorship with the East Carolina University Medical School Heart Institute. He is board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He began his association and practice with Asutin Heart in 2001.
