Dr. Spillane received his undergraduate degree from Belmont Abbey College and his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School at Newark. He interned in the Department of Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ and completed residencies in the Department of Anesthesiology at Monmouth Medical Center and in the Department of Medicine, Division of Neurology, at Duke Medical Center. A fellowship in Pain Management and Regional Anesthesia was completed at the Naval Hospital San Diego, San Diego, CA. He is certified by the American Board of Pain Management, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the American Board of Anesthesiology.
