Dr. Proffitt provides complete family dental services for children and adults.  Since 1982 Dr. Proffitt and his well-trained, friendly staff have continuously served Maryville, Alcoa and Louisville patients with the best in preventative, restorative and cosmetic dental care. Dr. William F. Proffitt, Jr In 1982 I began practicing dentistry here in Maryville with two other established dentists.  Five years later I took over the practice and began making improvements that eventually led to a completely new office building that we continue to use today. Our office is designed to provide patients with comfortable surroundings while allowing our staff to care for all your dental needs in an efficient manner. My staff of hygienists, assistants and administrators bring a high level of technical skills and years of experience to the practice.  They make my job much easier and our patients love their caring attitude. My wife and I have two sons.  We enjoy our time together participation in sports, community affairs and church activities.  I have family members in the area so this community has been home to me all my life.  I'm thankful for the opportunities I've had, the people I've come to know and all the things I've been able to accomplish.
