Wendy Mouradian, MD, MS is Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Washington, with adjunct appointments in Dental Public Health Sciences and Health Services (Public Health). She is Associate Dean of Regional Affairs and Curriculum and Director of Regional Initiatives in Dental Education at the School of Dentistry. Mouradian previously served as Director of the Craniofacial Program at Seattle Children's Hospital. She earned her MD from Columbia University and her MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed a fellowship in developmental pediatrics at the University of Washington. Mouradian has received a number of national awards for her role in organizing and the Face of a Child: Surgeon General's Conference on Children and Oral Health, and for bringing attention to children's oral health within the medical community. Her research interests include ethics and quality of life in children with craniofacial conditions, access to oral health care, and the integration of oral health into primary care.
