Dr. Eglseder is an associate professor of surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, the chief of hand and upper extremity surgery, and an attending orthopaedic traumatologist at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He received his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and served his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Eglseder also completed a fellowship in hand surgery at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Eglseder's teaching activities include serving as an orthopaedic trauma attending for the Hospital for Joint Diseases, National Naval Medical Center, The Union Memorial Hospital, University of Maryland Medical Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center and The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Eglseder is the associate editor for the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma and is board certified in orthopaedic surgery, with added qualifications in hand surgery.
