Building relationships with families and enjoying the interaction with children drew Dr. DeVerteuil to pediatric medicine. She joined the practice in 1986 after earning both undergraduate and medical degrees from The Ohio State University. In her residency at Nationwide ChildrenÂ’s Hospital, she received the Minor Seymour 3rd Year Pediatric Residency Award and she was also a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. DeVerteuil enjoys helping families learn, She loves watching the developmental changes that occur in children. She is currently Department Chairman of Pediatrics at Mt. Carmel St.AnnÂ’s Hospital and an assistant professor with OSU. Dr. DeVerteuil and her husband Paul are the parents of three children.
