Dr. Patel received his medical degree from the Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad , India. He was a resident and chief resident in internal medicine at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse , New York. He completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington , Connecticut and a one year Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the University of Connecticut , St. Francis Hospital in Hartford , Connecticut.
