Dr. Royce specializes in the treatment of patients with breast, prostate and genitourinary cancers, and also conducts cancer-related outcomes research, designed to monitor and improve the quality of patient care. He is the first or co-author of 25 peer-reviewed publications and 2 book chapters related to his clinical and research interests, along with more than 25 presentations at radiation oncology-related meetings nationwide. Dr. Royce received numerous academic achievement awards during medical school, including a prestigious Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship, and induction into both the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. As a Clinical Research Fellow, Dr. Royce took a year off from medical school and spent his time in our department researching prostate cancer treatment outcomes with Dr. Ronald Chen.
