Brief Intro

Tracy L. Wilkerson, DDS Dr. Wilkerson grew up in Charleston and attended Charleston Catholic High School. Following graduation, she attended Vanderbilt University and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in 1996. She ultimately decided to follow in the footsteps of her father, Dr. Tom Wilkerson, a pioneer of Pediatric Dentistry in West Virginia. She attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry, graduating with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002. While there, she was selected to be a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, as well as receiving other awards and honors for her clinical and classroom achievements. Dr. Wilkerson then completed a Residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Kentucky in 2004, where she served as Chief Resident. She began her Pediatric Dentistry practice by joining Children’s Dentistry, the practice founded by her father. She took over the practice following her father’s retirement from dental practice. Dr. Wilkerson continues to meet the dental needs of infants, children and adolescents in West Virginia, guided by the same commitment to high quality care established by Dr. Tom. Dr. Wilkerson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She has assembled a team of knowledgeable staff that will help provide your children with quality dentistry that is specific for younger age groups in a comfortable environment. She enjoys helping children in her professional role as well as in her role as mother of three, Meredith, Wilkes and Nora.
