Timothy Albert DuMontier: Orthopedic Surgeon Timothy DuMontier, M.D., serves on the Northwest Healthcare medical staff and practices with Northwest Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. DuMontier graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed an internship and a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Washington. He completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Michigan International Foot and Ankle Center. Before making the move to Kalispell he practiced orthopedic medicine in Ronan for four years. Dr. DuMontier's expertise is in foot and ankle surgery as well as trauma and care of complex foot problems. He collaborates with an orthotics specialist who handles shoe adjustments and other related foot and ankle equipment. By joining Northwest Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. DuMontier is able to focus on his expertise in caring for complex foot problems and severely injured extremities. By seeing a large number of patients he can hone his skills and bring a high level of care to the Flathead Valley. He grew up in the Mission Valley and graduated from St. Ignatius High school. His roots in Western Montana go back several generations. He is descended from a French fur trader who settled in the area in the 1800s. He enjoys sailing, outdoor activities and working on classic cars. He and his wife, Becca, have three young children, Isabelle, Analise and Charles.
