TENNESSEE PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND PAIN MANAGEMENT
We are interventional pain specialists who also manage pain. Procedures when indicated are used in concert with a comprehensive plan to attain specific patient goals.
Most musculoskeletal pain conditions do not require surgery. A herniated disc is an excellent example of a condition that responds very well to conservative management. Even in the face of a focal radiculopathy (4/5 weakness), conservative care (medication, ESIs and PT), has an 85% success for return to work and athletic endeavors. If surgery is needed we can help make the appropriate referral.
