Brief Intro

Dr. Thomas A. Kernstock, Dental Director and Owner Responsible for the growth and development of his office into one of the leading providers of dental treatment in the greater Bay Area.  Dr. Kernstock has repeatedly been recognized by the Bay City Times as one of the "People's Choice Award" recipients.  A 1974 graduate of the University of Detroit School of Dentistry he is the proud founder of this progressive and compassionate dental practice.  His areas of special interest in dentistry include: orthodontics, esthetic dentistry, crown and bridgework, endodontics, preventative dentistry and oral surgery.  He has completed many hours of post doctoral training in each of these areas.  He is very sensitive to each patient's comfort and to the quality of treatment which is provided. Dr. Kernstock lives in Bay City (his native town born and raised) with his wife Carol.  They have two grown sons and three wonderful grandchildren.  His personal time involves his church, golf, photography, reading, an antique automobile, traveling and his grandchildren. New technology, advanced procedures, outstanding materials and new medications have allowed us to achieve easier, more natural, longer lasting and more comfortable results.  Great strides have been made in restorative dentistry better allowing us to replace diseased and missing tooth structure.  Dr. Kernstock has dedicated much of his life learning about dental disease and how to best deliver needed treatment and care.  He feels that the future of dentistry is prevention, minimizing risk, strengthening tooth structure and thereby preventing disease.  Probiotics, the use of stem cells, and inoculations to prevent tooth decay are in our future.  He feels blessed to work with exceptional people and to be able to provide high quality dental care to many deserving families in the greater Bay Area.  Compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, gentle, caring, meticulous and lives the golden rule, these are words that describe Dr. Kernstock and this is what makes him the person that he is.  Dr.  Thomas A.
