Thelma Buan, MD, earned her medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines where she also completed her internship. She completed her residency at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Dr. Buan is a family practitioner who practices medicine the old fashioned way -- taking the time to get to know and understand her patients. She personally calls patients if she has to discuss abnormal test results and makes a point to apologize for any long waits if this is inevitable. English, Dr. Buan speaks fluent Ilocano and Tagalog.
