Dr. Terry L Norris, DDS

Norris, D.M.D. Dr. Norris was raised in Moon Township, PA which happens to be the hometown of the famed UK basketball coach, John Calipari. In 1974 Dr. Norris received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA where he also played varsity soccer for three years. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1978. In March of 1979, Dr. Norris began his practice in Owensboro, KY. In his 31 years of practice, he has served on both the Daviess County and the Green River District Boards of Health for 20 plus years. He was also the dental consultant for the employee benefit program of the Green River District Health Department. As a lifelong member of the American Dental Association and the Kentucky Dental Association, Dr. Norris has received numerous citations for service including Fellowship Awards from the Kentucky Dental Association and the Green River Dental Society. In 2005 he was elected to the honorary Pierre Fauchard Academy. In 2009 he was honored with the Presidential Citation from the Kentucky Dental Association. Presently he serves as a delegate to the Kentucky Dental Association and is also Chairman of the Council on the Annual Session for the Association. In Owensboro, Dr. Norris has volunteered at the Christian Dental Mission for 14 years. Other areas of community service during his career have been with the Southern Baptist Convention serving on the Executive Committee and on the Committee on Nominations. He has been the moderator and twice the vice-moderator of the Daviess McLean Baptist Association and has served in numerous churches in Owensboro with his membership being at First Baptist for the last 4 years. He is married to Ginger who began working as patient coordinator at the office after her retirement from the Owensboro Public Schools as a speech/language pathologist. Together they have three grown sons. Dr. Norris is a strong advocate for Owensboro and counts it a blessing to be part of a family friendly and thriving community. All graduated from Apollo High School in Owensboro. Tresa - Office Manager Tresa began with Dr. Norris on his first day of practice in 1979. Kathy - Dental Assistant Kathy has worked beside Dr. Norris since 1984. Sue - Dental Hygienist Sue joined the practice in 1986. Laura - Dental Hygienist Laura joined the practice in 2003 after moving back to Owensboro. Ginger - Patient Coordinator Ginger assumed this responsibility after retiring from the Owensboro Public Schools.
