Dr. Stewart-Dehner is a non-invasive clinical cardiologist skilled in echocardiograph imaging.
The first physician in her family, she was born and grew up in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her undergraduate degree at Kent University, attended medical school at Northeastern Ohio University and completed her cardiology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She’s been at Ohio Heart and Vascular Center since 1998.
She is married with two children. Her husband, Dennis, is also in the medical field. The family also includes a Chihuahua and Jack Russell mix. Dr Stewart-Dehner volunteers weekly as a teacher’s aide, a hobby she started when her daughter, Olivia, was in first grade. She enjoyed it so much that she has continued to volunteer for the first grade class–all day, every Friday for the past five years now.
Her love for people is evident in her career choice as well. Dr. Stewart-Dehner feels that the most rewarding part of being a physician is taking care of people who have been really sick and watching them recover.
