Tamara K. Scalise, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Scalise completed an Internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and followed with her dermatology specialty training at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Scalises extensive background as an active duty physician for the U.S. Navy ended after 13 years, with an honorable discharge at the rank of Commander. She completed multiple deployments in the Western Pacific and Persian Gulf, spent six years as a flight surgeon, including a tour with the Blue Angels, and was head of Outpatient Clinic, Department of Dermatology, Naval Medical Center San Diego. Currently in civilian private practice, Dr. Scalise and her office are committed to providing quality, compassionate and comprehensive dermatologic care in a warm and welcoming environment.
