Brief Intro

Sunni Kovar, OD, earned her undergraduate degree from Dickinson State University, majoring in Biology. Following undergrad, Dr. Kovar went on to graduate from Pacific University College of Optometry, earning her Doctor of Optometry degree.During her education, Dr. Kovar completed a pediatric and vision therapy internship at Hellerstein and Brenner Vision Center. In addition, she completed an ocular disease management internship with a focus on dry eye at Virginia Eye Consultants along with a primary care and contact lens internship at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.In 2013, Dr. Kovar moved to Colorado to join the ICON Eyecare team. In her spare time, she enjoys running, biking, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and young children.
