Dr. Chalfin has been practicing in the Long Beach, Los Alamitos area for 20 years. He has a practice in General Urology with special interest in female urology. He is experienced in the repair of vaginal prolapse as well as urinary stress incontinence and urge incontinence. He is active in the Urodynamic Society and also has begun a program in interstim therapy for the bladder. This helps patients with intractable frequency and urgency who do not respond to conventional therapy. It involves placement of a pacemaker controlling the nerves to the bladder.
