Dr. Bekas is a native of Indianapolis. He did his undergraduate schooling at Indiana University where he graduated with honors. He went to Indiana University Medical School and graduated in the top 10% of his class in 1991. After 2 years of general medical training at Methodist Hospital, he completed 3 years of Dermatology training at Rush Presbyterian, St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago in 1996. He joined Lifetime Skin Care Centers in 1997 and currently he focuses on general dermatology with a special interest in skin cancer surgery and cosmetic surgery including laser procedures. His other interests are sports and reading mystery novels.
