Brief Intro

Dr. Stephen J. Pero is a native of Nashville, Illinois and completed his undergraduate studies at St. Louis University. He graduated from St. Louis University Dental School in 1966, where he received his D.D.S. degree. Dr. Pero served in the Army completing four years of military service, including a tour of duty in Germany. He returned home to complete his pediatric dental specialty training at Columbus Children's Hospital in 1972. Dr. Pero and his wife Mary have four daughters, three grandsons, and two granddaughters who live both near and far, providing wonderful family time and vacation locations! Dr. Pero is active in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Toledo Dental Society. He is a member of St. Luke's Hospital Staff. In private life Dr. Pero is a prolific glass artist who enjoys jet-skiing on Lake Erie.
