Dr. Godar received his B.S. degree in biology at Davidson College in North Carolina. He earned his doctorate of medicine degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency program was performed at St. Louis University Group of Hospitals & Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Prior to starting his private practice in Morgan County, Dr. Godar was employed as a staff physician for Kaiser Permanente in Denver for eight years, where he earned Kaiser's "Top 100 doctors" Art. Of Medicine score in 2002. He also has extensive training in acupuncture. When not caring for patients, Dr. Godar enjoys hiking, cross country skiing, and playing soccer with his teenage daughter, Elizabeth.
