Dr. Stephan Penkhus is a native of Ames, Iowa and has been with the Mankato Clinic since 1976. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa School of Medicine. He interned and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Colorado. Dr. Penkhus’ clinical interests include high risk obstetrics, gynecological surgery, obesity and overall fitness and wellness. In his personal time he enjoys numerous outdoor sports and activities and believes health care professionals should set a good example of a healthy lifestyle for their patients. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Diplomat of the American Board of OB/GYN, and a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN.
